Laredo, TX (Friday, September 20, 2024) – Friends of Laredo Sports and Mexican Soccer League Fans are in for a treat in the Gateway City on Friday, October 11, 2024 as the Laredo Heat Soccer Club and it’s parent company, A Vaswani Soccer Venture, LLC open up PEG Energy Stadium to two giants of the Mexico “futbol” scene, Club America and Club Tigres UANL, kickoff is set for 7:15 P.M.

The Tigres and America will be showcasing their Under-23 professional squads which play just one division below their top Liga MX teams.

Many of the players on the U-23 teams throughout Mexico have debuted with their respective First Teams or are the verge of moving up at any time during their season, this aspect of the match at PEG Energy Stadium should be an exciting element for sports and soccer fans of Laredo.

“We are very excited of bringing this game to Laredo and showcasing our new stadium to our faithful fans and sponsors, not to mention to members of the community that love Mexican soccer and may not have had the chance to come out to PEG Energy Stadium yet”, said Heat Owner Shashi Vaswani.

Vaswani added, “And even more exciting is that the teams coming to our fine city are none other than America and the Tigres, two outstanding Mexican soccer organizations, that will make the match even more of must be at event”.

Ticket prices begin at $12 for general admission and because the capacity at PEG Energy Stadium is only 1,500, the event will sell-out so it is advised for fans to start to purchase their tickets when they go on sale this coming Sunday, September 22, 2024 on the Laredo Heat Soccer Club website, www.laredoheatsc.com
