The Laredo Heat Soccer Club, now a proud member of USL League Two, is excited to announce the appointment of Johnny Ibarra as the team’s new head coach for the upcoming season. A former standout Heat player who proudly wore the #10 jersey, Coach Ibarra returns to the club to lead the team into a new and exciting era.

Johnny Ibarra’s history with the Heat spans back to his time on the field, where his passion, talent, and dedication earned him a lasting place in the hearts of fans and the club alike.

Now, as head coach, he brings a wealth of experience, a deep understanding of the game, and a unique connection to the team’s culture.

Club president Shashi Vaswani expressed his excitement about the appointment, saying: “Johnny embodies the spirit of the Laredo Heat Soccer Club. As a former player, he understands the culture and values of this team, and we’re confident he will bring that same passion and dedication to his role as head coach.
