Laredo Opens Season at Home on May 17th Against Hill Country Lobos
The Laredo Heat Soccer Club, in partnership with the United Soccer Leagues (USL), is excited to announce the official release of the 2025 USL League Two (USL2) regular season schedule. The Heat will kick off their highly anticipated campaign at home on Saturday, May 17th, hosting the Hill Country Lobos at PEG Energy Stadium.
All Heat home matches will be played at PEG Energy Stadium, located at 5401 Bob Bullock Loop near the Laredo International Airport. Home matches will kick off at 7:45 P.M. CST, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to cheer on their hometown team.
This season, Laredo will play a 12-game schedule—six home matches and six away—marking a two-game increase from the 2024 season.
“Coach Ibarra, his staff, and the boys are ready for the challenge of competing in USL2 this season, and we are eager to showcase our talent in front of our dedicated fanbase,” said Heat Owner Shashi Vaswani. “PEG Energy Stadium has quickly become a premier soccer venue in South Texas, and after hosting incredible events like last year’s Liga MX friendly between Club America and Tigres, we are looking forward to another electrifying season.”
