Young Soccer Players in Laredo Given a Unique Opportunity to Be Scouted by MLS Next Clubs*In an exciting development for young soccer players in the Laredo area, two MLS Next clubs, AC River (San Antonio) and Austin FC, have teamed up with the Laredo Youth Soccer Association (LYSA) and A Vaswani Soccer Ventures, LLC (the Laredo Heat Soccer Club) to host a Talent ID Camp. This event, set to take place on Friday, March 7, 2025, at PEG Energy Stadium, offers boys born in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 the chance to showcase their skills in front of scouts from both clubs.
“This is an exciting event for young players from our region, something that does not happen often, and that players and parents should take full advantage of,” said Fabian Arciga, Heat Youth Soccer Director of Coaching. “As an organization, we are looking forward to this event and future Talent ID events with both organizations, anything to grow the sport and give kids from Laredo and Webb County opportunities for success.”
The Talent ID Camp is exclusively for boys from Laredo and Webb County and will start promptly at 6:30 P.M. CST at PEG Energy Stadium, located at 5401 Bob Bullock Loop, in front of the Laredo International Airport.
Registration for the event is available only through a QR Code posted on the official flyer, which will be shared on social media.
